Why Caroline Shinkle is Running

I am running for Congress as a Republican to give voters in Manhattan a real choice on the ballot. It is time to resurrect the power of private enterprise and common sense thinking and deliver tangible solutions to the outrageous cost of living in New York City.

I believe in pro-growth, pro-business, pro-worker economic policies that will generate unbridled opportunity for New Yorkers. This means letting people keep more of what they earn, letting people choose how to invest their time and resources, and rewarding those who work for a living.

New York City once spoke to those looking for hope as a beacon of opportunity. Not the hope that the government would take control of you. But the promise that, through economic freedom, anything was possible.
